Volocity and Openlab Workshop run by Improvision
Room 124 Taylor Hall Thursday 18th April 2002 (appointments one hour only)
VOLOCITY is a unique software system for interactive visualisation, measurement and publication of time resolved, multi colour, 3D volumes. It has been specifically designed as a fast, easy way to EXPLORE 3 dimensional objects over time. This program can be used with stacks of images from any confocal microscope.
We will also be demonstrating OPENLAB (for Macs), which is a modular imaging program developed specifically for scientists who study the structure and function of a cell. Openlab has a wide variety of applications including deconvolution, 3D imaging, GFP and multiwavelength fluorescence imaging, FISH, FRET, Calcium imaging and many others.
The demonstrations will last for 1 hour and we recommend no more than 5 people
per group. To reserve an appointment for yourself or for your colleagues please
